Waterfalls in Bogor

Last May we visited one of the waterfalls in Bogor. This tourism object is not located in the middle of the wilderness or remote mountains, but pretty close to urban areas. One of the tours “hidden” is a thousand, which is located in Curug not far from the city of Bogor.
Curug Thousand precisely located in the Mount Bunder, a village in district Pamijahan, Bogor. Its location is just about 30 minutes from the Centre of Bogor City. In the Mountain region is an awful lot there are Bunder location waterfall tourism or curug, however one of the most interesting is the Curug Thousand.
Curug Thousand it is at an altitude of between 750-1050 meters above sea level (above sea level) and included in the tourist area of Mount Salak Endah at the foot of Mount Salak in the shade of Mount Halimun National Park. Curug Thousand is the highest waterfall in this area. High waterfalls is 100 meters. This area is managed by the surrounding communities and has been a local entertainment for the community and surrounding areas of Bogor.
To reach the location of a thousand is a separate challenge Curug. Gates was located on the edge of a highway that can be traversed four wheeled vehicles. However, to achieve the original location, visitors must pass through the trail for 1 hour. This footpath is quite challenging, with bermedan slopes, rocky road and down some slippery stairs made of natural rock in between the rerimbunan forest.
