Sea rafting than became an option to deal with dropped water flow in the rivers in Sukabumi region. “Since the first time this game was launced in 2002, the enthusiast for this sea rafting area increasing”, said Hedy Frimansyah, the operator for sea rafting which is located in Augusta Hotel, Pelabuhan Ratu.
In terms of security and safety, this game is safer from rafting since the location of this game is in the beach with no corals. “Compare to rafting, sea rafting is relatively safer since the location has been selected, away from corals, so even there are people who fall from the rubber boat, they will not hit the corals”, he said. He also added that the participants are safe from being swept away from the river flow.
Beside that, the rescue team who join to Balawisata community (Badan Penyelamat Wisata Tirta)/ Water Sport Rescue Team is stand by on the beach. They will provide you with guidance when you on your rubber boat.This game which really looks alike with rafting can be enjoyed by 7 people at the maximum in one rubber boat, it includes one guide who will guide all the participants during the game.
