Kamojang Crater charm and Situ Cangkuang, Garut

I have long wanted to Garut, West Java, and just yesterday could recall. Almost 2 months I survey location tours and routes towards the city of Garut. As always, before travelling, I always used to be hunting locations to be targeted in order to not waste your time in the destination city.
Travel to Garut via Cipularang Toll takes approximately 3 hours with a moderate pace, the laid back just as it does not rush too. Arriving in the city of Garut, I like to eat at the Restaurant Pujasega. From the outside at a glance this looked small and restaurant mediocre but it turns out that in it there is a vast area. Visitors can choose to eat a la cross-legged or sitting in a Chair. It was after hours sitting cross-legged in the vehicle, is a fitting choice for me.

Restaurant Pujasega is recommended for that want to eat with a rural ambience. Menu vary and it’s guaranteed good. Especially its flagship menu cooked with rice for both package and do not forget the message to get the taste of yellow as well, Yes.

Cangkuang Temple site became the first tourist destination I sambangi that afternoon. The site is located in the village of Cangkuang, Northern Garut entered Town Leles. Cangkuang village surrounded by four big mountains in West Java, which among other things, the mountain Kaledong Mountain Haruman, Mandalawangi Mountain, and Mount Thunder.

Cangkuang Temple based on history, is the ancient Hindu shrines in the 7th century and 8th century CE. Built right in the Middle There Cangkuang, Garut, West Java. Cangkuang Temple was rediscovered by the Team’s History and surrounding Leles on December 9, 1966. Exactly on the South side of Candi Cangkuang, standing upright gravestones fed Arif Mohammed, of Kampung Pulo Islam first.

More unique Cangkuang Temple is again despite a settlement named after the village of Pulo. A small village consisting of six pieces of the House and the head of the family. This provision must keep, and it is customary when the number of provisions of the House and the head of the family were to be six. So, if there are family members who married had to get out of the Kampung Pulo environment.
Unfortunately due to arrive there too late in the afternoon, the temple site is a picture I took of Cangkuang inadequate, apart of course due to pocket camera with amateurism. But the upside is I can enjoy a romantic evening in Situ Cangkuang (Cangkuang Lake). While berakit home, watching the beautiful sunset tint cannot be described with words.

That night, after the Temple site on Cangkuang I sempatkan come to the funfair is in the square of the town of Garut. Curious enough, like what the heck a night market that is in the town of Garut. It turns out that no difference-difference jauhlah with night market-a usual night market is in other cities. There are selling clothes, food, and this is a fun, variety of nih game ala Dufan!
Before resting, I sempatkan dinner at the Jemanii Cafe. The conception of open places to eat, above the water. At first glance similar to Segara Restaurant in Ancol.

Kamojang crater area into a tourist destination on the second day. Journey to the tourist area of Kamojang Crater is truly an elixir for my tired eyes staring at his computer monitor 15 inch. The crater is the source of geothermal Kamojang in West Java. In its history, known as a volcano named mount Guntur, but was classified in the crater of the volcano was active due to the geothermal activity.
Kamojang Crater area differs from Kawah Putih in Bandung South due to having some point crater that has a characteristic. Because that’s the point, too few craters named after a sound is heard from the crater. Like Crater, named such because Villages in one area of the crater consists of several sound holes such as villages or birds (Sundanese).

The crater is named such because Trains emit sounds like a train accompanied the occasional sound of a whistle. There is also a crater is a crater Sakarat because reads like one who is dying (die).
In fact there are many tourist objects that haven’t gotten around to me due to the limited time sambangi. There are still Beaches Santolo, Tolire and others. Not what, at least I’ve visited two tour destinations most hapenning in Garut. Next time could be drawn up the plan again. Way back in my journey towards Bogor Garut through a natural landscape Paseh has gorgeous but the course of the meandering and steep decline. It twists and climbs Nagrek phenomenal is not nothing compared with the road climbs and twists in this Paseh.
Paseh, off of the entry to the area and ends at the door Majalaya toll Mohammad Toha. The route was really easy, just follow the main road course while occasionally having regard to the directions the way to make sure nothing wrong direction.
